چکیده

Introduction.-In the first part of this paper,' it was shown that the following wave equation offers a new method for describing a free particle in relativistic quantum theory: (iEps ± Mc)/M = 0, (1) where M is the operator M = m + moEk l?7kq + m'eke?7. (2) Here, m, mo, m' are any scalar hermitian operators which commute with ECk, 7ki, Pi, and in particular they may be c-numbers. The momentum operators Pi also commute with ci, Eki, nl, 7kj. The operators vi, 7k1 commute with the operators Ei, eCk, and these satisfy among themselves the following commutation relations:

Experimental Consequences of the Hypothesis of Regge Poles

In the nonrelativistic case of the Schrodinger equation, composite particles correspond to Regge poles in scattering amplitudes {poles in the complex plane of angular momentum). It has been suggested that the same may be true in relativistic theory. In that case, the scattering amplitude in which such a particle is exchanged behaves at high energies like s~~'& Lsinvo (t) 7 ', where s is the ene...

Zero Range Scattering Theory Ii . Minimal Relativistic Three - Particle Equations and the Efimov Effect

We present numerical results obtained from a minimal relativistic model for three distinguishable particles of equal mass driven by a single bound or virtual state for each pair, which is a relativistic generalization of the zero range non-relativistic two particle scattering length model. In contrast to the non-relativistic case, the relativistic kinematics makes the three body equations conve...

Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen-Bohm experiment with relativistic massive particles

Two aspects of the relativistic version of the EinsteinPodolsky-Rosen-Bohm (EPRB) experiment with massive particles are discussed: (a) a possibility of using the experiment as an implicit test of a relativistic center-of-mass concept, and (b) in uence of the relativistic e ects on degree of violation of the Bell inequality. The nonrelativistic singlet state average h j~a ~ ~b ~ j i = ~a ~b is r...

Possible Peculiarities Of Synchrotron Radiation In A Strong Magnetic Field

Relativistic quantum effects on physical observables of scalar charged particles are studied. Possible peculiarities of their behavior that can be verified in an experiment can confirm several fundamental conceptions of quantum mechanics. For observables independent of charge variable, we propose relativistic Wigner function formalism that contains explicitly the measurement device frame. This ...

A RkLATIVISTIC “ POTENTIAL MODEL ” FOR N - PARTICLE SYSTEMS

Neither quantum field theory nor S-Matrix theory have a well defined procedure for going over to an approximation that can be reliably used in non-relativistic models for nuclear physics. We meet the problem here by constructing a finite particle number relativistic scattering theory for (scalar) particles and mesons using integral equations of the Faddeev-Yakubovsky type. Restricted to N parti...
